We Stand for Energy (WSFE) provides energy consumers and employees who rely on electricity with a platform for engagement, and the knowledge and tools to empower them to take action on policies that support an affordable, abundant, reliable, and increasingly clean energy future.
Expand Electric Vehicle Access for All
Electric vehicles are our future. But, our nation doesn’t currently have the infrastructure to support them. Today, nearly 1.3 million electric vehicles are on the road and by 2030, that number is expected to be close to 26 million.
Greater use of electric vehicles will help improve energy security, diversify our energy mix, and reduce emissions. To succeed, we need solutions that will benefit all communities – rural, urban and suburban.
I’m calling on the government, electric companies, and the private sector to work together to find solutions to this problem and ensure our country is at the forefront of building affordable and reliable nationwide charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
